Quilting Blog Hop

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today features projects made using a 'Quilting' technique. I took to Pinterest for some ideas as I was not exactly sure how this card might look, although I had a few ideas. Julie Davidson has a good video that I followed to make my card. Click here to see her demonstration which starts around 10 minutes into the video.

This card also happens to be a Book Binder fun fold, one of my favorite fun fold cards. I used the new Hostess 'Design a Daydream' 12 x 12 designer series paper. There are 48 sheets in the set, 4 designs of 12 double-sided paper. Orders of $150 or more can qualify for 10% in host rewards and purchase this paper for just $18.00 or $3 above the 10% rewards.

I love how the card turned out. The colors and quilt reminded me of a baby blanket, so I selected the sentiment from the new Charming Sentiments bundle which worked perfectly. See below for details/tips on how to make this card.
