Share it Sunday Blog Hop - Earthen Elegance Suite

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today features the 'monthly Share It Sunday' projects where the team shares any project that have been working on.

I ordered the Earthen Elegance Suite from the new 23-24 Annual catalog. You can find the suite of products on pg.70 -71 of the catalog along with some samples of projects made with it. I took inspiration from one of the projects on that page with just a few changes to make it my own card.

The designer series paper is so pretty and the textures so fun to create an abundant variety of vases and/or leaf related die cuts that turn out beautifully. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun creating with this gorgeous suite of products.

#DOswts411 - Any New Color Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. I am a member of the DO Stamper Stars team which is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Each month we participate in 2 Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

As many of you know, Stampin' Up! did a color refresh with the roll out of the 23-24 Annual Catalog. 11 new core colors were introduced along with 5 new In-colors that will be available for 2 years. The challenge today is to use any of the new in colors. I chose to use Pecan Pie and Pretty Peacock which was a popular in color from a few years back.

I also have the new Coffee with Friends stamp set I wanted to create with. The coffee & croissants image was created by coloring with the Stampin' write markers: coffee cups in pretty peacock and croissants/coffee hearts in the pecan pie.

Card Details

  • Stamps
    • Coffee with Friends

    • Pecan Pie: Card Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score 4 1/4, 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 layer for sentiment
    • Basic White: 2 1/4 x 1 1/4 sentiment; 5 1/4 x 4 inside layer
    • Regals 6 x 6 designer series paper:  Pretty Peacock color cut 5 1/4 x 4 -trim at 2 1/4 and flip over to get 2nd design.

    • Core Stampin' Write Markers: Pretty Peacock & Pecan Pie
  • Other
    • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
    • Stylish Shapes dies

Crafty Challenge May Sketch Blog Hop

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today features the monthly Craft Challenge. The team is creating projects using the below sketch,

Making this a slimline card is optional, so my card is regular greeting size (5 1/2 x 4 1/4). I received my product share which gives me a sampling of all the new paper, ribbon and embellishments. I've been seeing lots of cards made with the Fresh As A Daisy papers and really love this DSP. I decided to use the design that has quick and easy designs to cut and layer on your card.

I love how the Early Espresso scalloped edge coordinates so well with this wild wheat paper.

Card Details

  • Stamps
    • Something Fancy
  • Paper
    • Wild Wheat card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
    • Basic White Layer: 5 1/4 x 4: scrap to die cut sentiment layer
    • Early Espresso: 5" x 1" - die cut with scalloped contours die; Scrap for die cut sentiment layer
    • Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper: 5 x 3 3/8
  • Ink
    • Early Espresso
  • Other

    • Scalloped Contours dies
    • Something Fancy Dies
    • 23-25 In Color dots

Scrapbooking Global May 18, 2023 - Birthday Blog Hop

The Scrapbooking Global Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in a scrapbooking Blog Hop Theme, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's theme is 'Birthday', brought to you by Julie Quinn. Birthday's are always a great subject to scrapbook!

I love to scrap book birthday pages, especially my grandchildren. My granddaughter just turned 3 in March so I had some new pictures from her princess party that are perfect for this challenge. There are lots of birthday sets and papers in the catalog this year. The Bright & Beautiful 6x6 designer series paper is perfect for birthday cards and projects. Luckily, I just received my product share that my Upline demonstrator offers, in time to add this and other fun specialty papers to my layout.

There are so many elements on this page which is what I love about birthday pages. The Gold Celebrations overlay DSP adds so much fun to the Soft Shimmer DSP I added to the page. I used Stampin' Write markers to give the Happy Birthday 2 color tones. I think I still need to add a typed sentiment "Let's Eat Cake" on the layout as she told me that her favorite part of the party was her cake!

I love to cut pictures, especially when the person in the photo is large enough to add as an element to the page. I decided to cut my granddaughter and decorate her with a crown and ribbon on her wand. The Friendship Royalty stamp set from the new catalog is on my wish list, but I have not ordered it yet, so I pulled out the retired "You Rule" stamp set which has a crown and princess sentiment to add to this page.

Layout Details

  • Stamps
    • Biggest Wish
    • You Rule - retired est. 2013 (crown/princess)
  • Paper
    • Basic White 12 x 12 - basic layer + 1 /1/2 x 4 1/2 for the Happy Birthday sentiment + scrap for the birthday crown that is fussy cut on Brylee's head
    • Highland Heather: scrap for number 3 die cut
    • Bright & Beautiful 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper: (2) 6x6 designs
    • Soft Shimmer 12 x 12 Specialty paper:  6x6 of Berry Burst & Bubble Bath
    • Gold Celebrations 12 x 12 Specialty DSP: (2) 6 x6 designs to lay over the soft shimmer paper
  • Ink
    • 2023 New Core Stampin" Write Markers: I colored the stamps as follows:
      • HAPPY: Berry Burst & Fresh Freesia
      • BIRTHDAY: Blueberry Bushel & Azure Afternoon
      • Crown/princes: Bubble Bath & Berry Burst
  • Other
    • Tinsel Gems 4-pack - Berry Burst on 'crown'
    • 3/8" Sheer Ribbon combo: Bubble Bath on 'wand'; I cut the ribbon into smaller dangling strips
    • Large Number Dies - retired est. 2016
    • Adhesives: Seal, Multipurpose glue, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals
