Welcome to the May kit Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop. A Group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators join to create collaboratively using the current Paper Pumpkin Kit. Specifically, we design alternative cards, scrapbook pages, or other paper projects using the contents of the kit and a few coordinating additions from our own stash

One of the first things I do when I get a kit is separate all the elements and punch out the die cut/card pieces. I noticed right away there are a few circle punch outs that are 'extras', not used in the kit designs. I decided to use these for my alternate cards. I also started seeing quite a few other creators using these circles in their design and took some ideas from them. This card is more monochromatic in color choice than others I saw.
For the below card I decided to try gold embossing for the 'dots' and the sentiment. This ties in with the gold foil in the kit circle. I also change the choice of designer series pattern in the DSP circle.

Love your alternates. I prefer the gold and wish I had thought of using embossing to get the gold in the background!
