Today I’m sharing a simple birthday card using the Calming Camellia host stamp set to show you how simple it is to earn FREE product during Stampin’ Up!’s January – February 28, 2022 Sale-a-Bration Promotion.  This card is CASE'd (Copy & Share Everything) from Mary Fish of Stampin' Pretty. I thought it was so pretty, I altered very little of her design and color choices. 

The Calming Camellia Stamp Set (158117) is the FREE Host Set from pg. 17 of the catalog.  It is earned for FREE with a qualifying order of $300 or more. 

Additionally, in this card I used the SIMPLY MARBLEOUS designer series paper! The pack includes soft, pastel, realistic marble imagery, with one side revealing a more realistic marble and the other side a more artistic marble. I cropped a piece of Highland Heather Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper with a  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the largest Scalloped Contours Die.  Additionally, a piece of Basic White card stock has been cropped with the 2nd largest Scalloped Contours Die.

The tips for stamping this beautiful Camellia floral image from the stamp set in Highland Heather ink is to use your Stamparatus to position the flower for stamping on the die cut piece of basic white. After inking up the stamp, dab the outer edge every so lightly with a sponge dauber which removes the ink to help create softer lines on the edges of the image. Layer onto the Marbelous layer with dimensionals and layer both onto white card base with dimensionals

 

Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Highland Heather card stock.  Cover with White Basics Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Set with a Heat Tool. Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the All Dressed Up label die. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

Embellish with Clear Dots from the Sliver & Clear Epoxy Essentials and you've got a beautiful birthday card!!
