Welcome to the October Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop. A Group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators join to create collaboratively using the current Paper Pumpkin Kit. Specifically, we design alternative cards, scrapbook pages, or other paper projects using the contents of the kit and a few coordinating additions from our own stash.
Details:
· Kit contains enough supplies to create nine treat packages—three each of three designs—and nine food-safe bags.
· This all-inclusive kit includes printed die cuts, die-cut boxes, cellophane treat bags, adhesive, and more!

· Coordinating colors: Evening Evergreen, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Pool Party, Poppy Parade
The Die cuts in the cut are so fun. They are quite large, 6"+. While they can be trimmed/cut for cards, I decided to use them to decorate some small gift bags. With Christmas coming up, this is an easy way to dress up plain bags from the Dollar store (small 3/$1, or medium 2/$1) I used the tags/string, stamp set /sentiment die, ink and clips from the kit. I used a few other ink spot colors from prior kits: Poppy Parade, Pool Party and Mossy Meadow. I also added some embellishments to each of the bag. Last, but not least, I added several ribbon strings from my stash to dress up the bags as well.
Details:
Bag#1: Christmas tree
- Whimsy & Wonder DSP _ I fussy cut the presents from the DSP under the tree and added a complimentary strip at the top.
- Wonderful Snowflakes worked perfect as a 'star' on the tree.
- The Tree was adhered with dimensional.
- I added Holiday rhinestones and In-color jewels to the tree 'ornaments'
- Ribbon is: Evening Evergreen, White Organdy Glitter, White Crinkled
Bag#1: Snowman
- Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP - not a lot of paper was needed as the red bag matched well with the snowman color. I added a strip at the top and bottom of the bag. I decided to add a strip behind him just for a bit of contrast
- Wonderful Snowflakes - what is a snowman without some snowflakes
- The Snowman was adhered with dimensional.
- I added Black Matte Dots over his eyes and buttons. The sentiment tag and snowflakes have the black cute stars and also a basic rhinestone on the tag.
- Ribbon is: Real Red Sheer , Black Organdy Glitter, White Crinkled
Bag#1: Stack of Presents
- Whimsy & Wonder DSP - there is not a lot of white space so I added just a strip at the top.
- The stamp set has a cluster of snow flakes image I stamped on the bag in pool party.
- The die cut was adhered with dimensional.
- I added Mettlic Pearls to the center f each bow on the presents.
- Ribbon is: Evening Evergreen, White Organdy Glitter, Real Red Sheer
It was a lot of fun dressing up the gift bags. I'm pretty certain I'll be making a few more for my holiday gift packaging.
