Hosting a Workshop has it's Rewards!

Who would like to earn Stampin’ Up! Rewards towards free product by hosting a workshop or Card Class with orders?

Workshop: I plan a traditional workshop gathering. You invite your friends to gather on a specific date. I demonstrate a few products, preferably favorites from your wish list as you will receive any project I make. Guests create 1-2 make n’ takes. Orders are placed towards the end of the workshop and remain open for any online orders from guests not able to attend in person.

Card Class: I help create a card class event scheduled in your home – minimum of 4 need to attend. A fee of $10* is charged for the class and we make 4 cards (*class for Host is free). I still create an exclusive host code for the event and the card class fee is waived for anyone who places an order that night. Outside orders will also be accepted for guests unable to attend.

I’ve shared before that during this Sale-a-Bration promotion, the exclusive ‘In Your Words’ stamp set is free to Hosts when the combined orders reach $300 or more in total sales, (see pg 17 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure).

I made a few samples of cards using sentiment from this set. 

I chose the sentiment "Life Is Full of Ups & Downs hold on tight". I thought the Very Versailles stamp set suited this sentiment well. It is a very calming, peaceful. I don't use subtle colors that often, but it worked for this card.

The "Magic" sentiment made me think of Dragonflies; I think they are such a magical insect. They are so easy to add as a beautiful element to any card. I added clear wink of stella to help them sparkle, along with a strip of Be Dazzling specialty paper from Sale-A-Bration. I used Very Vanilla in both cards, a neutral I do not use that often, and really liked the softer effect. 

There are other exclusive host only priced products in the Mini catalog, (see pg. 78) and the Annual Catalog (see pg. 170-171- the paper for $18 is a huge deal!). Workshop host rewards are highlighted below. You still earn 50% off 1 item when total workshop sales are $450 or higher (subject to limitations).

I recently held a workshop for a customer and was able to maximize her rewards around $70 in free product, (1) 50% item, free ‘In Your Words’ stamp set, and 3 level-1 Sale-A-Bration items, total value over $100* accounting for est. value of Sale-A-Bration items. (*Does not include the projects I made and gifted to Host).
