Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - October - Thoughts and Prayers

 The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing. 

Today features the monthly Stampin' Dreams hop with a sympathy related theme. I recently receive my order with the Heartfelt Hexagon bundle. The stamp set has all-occasion sentiments, including sympathy, so I decided to create with this bundle. 

The color purple is often associated with grief, the mourning of a loved one, whereas the color green is a sign of harmony. The combination is perfect for a sympathy card. I added butterfly die cuts from the Meadow Dies as butterfly symbolism is often used in sympathy cards as they resemble the stages of transformation in life or can be a sign the deceased has passed on.  

The sentiment on the inside is also from this stamp set, perfect for when words are hard to come by. I hope I don't have to use this card, but as I get older, more and more people around begin to pass. Reminds us to live for today and never pass up a hug from our loved ones.
