Welcome to the September kit Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop. A Group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators join to create collaboratively using the current Paper Pumpkin Kit. Specifically, we design alternative cards, scrapbook pages, or other paper projects using the contents of the kit and a few coordinating additions from our own stash.
September With Love & Gratitude Kit has so much potential for creating alternative cards. The stamp set is quite lovely and the kit elements/colors are a bit nontraditional for fall, but very pretty.
The Kit includes:
- 8 treat packages
- 8 note cards and 8 coordinating envelopes
- 1 Lost Lagoon Ink Spot
- Specialty gold foil, precut embellishments
- Finished treat packaging: 3-1/2" x 5" x 2"
- Final card size: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
- Coordinating Stampin’ Up! colors: Copper Clay, Crumb Cake, gold foil, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow, Pebbled Path
For an alternative, I decided to make a similar alternative to the sample that was photo'd on the back of the kit instructions. The main image is the leaf stamp from the kit stamp set. I stamped the image onto Soft Sea Foam ink and then used the Copper Clay Stampin' Write marker over the stems portion of the image, which is stamped onto a layer of Very Vanilla. The two images on the right side of card are connected and then the left side is a stamped off portion of the image. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
The base layer is Mossy Meadow and then I added a crumb cake layer. A small piece of cut Copper Clay ribbon really helped pop the sentiment on the piece of cut Crumb Cake.
