Fathers Day Blog Hop

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing. 

Today features Father's day theme related projects just in time to create inspiration for Father's Day in June. 

My husband is a motorcycle enthusiast. I did not have much opportunity to use the Legendary Ride stamp set, and had not used the dies yet to create a motorcycle. Making this card was the perfect opportunity to use the dies. 

Demonstrator Loni Spendlov shared the below cheat sheet on assembling the motorcycle die cut parts, depending of course on whether you want to use all of the bits & pieces. You can find the link here for details in her blog. 

My husband's Harley is dark blue with silver (sorry I don't have a photo) so I stuck with these colors to make the die cut bike, and added the flames for extra "coolness". 

The Metal plate 3D Embossing on the silver foil turned out so fun. This type of plate is often the flooring on a bike trailer. Adding the sentiment from the Legendary Ride stamp set was a no brainer, but I turned to the "He's The Man" set for the happy Father's Day sentiment on the inside of the card. My husband is going to love getting this card from his son.
