#DOswts408 Sketch Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. I am a member of the DO Stamper Stars team which is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Each month we participate in 2 Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's feature project is based on the below sketch.

 I decided to play with a retiring set, A Little Cheesy. I made the strips 3/4" x 6", adhered them to a basic white layer and then trimmed them off the side of the layer. Another option is to make the strips 1/2" and add a 3/4" layer of card stock behind them. I'm also using retiring color Rich Razzleberry. I think the returning in-color Berry Burst will be a nice replacement for Razzleberry. 

Wine & Cheese go so well together, I just had to decorate the inside with the cheese image and related sentiment. I used another retiring color, Mango Melody. 

I decided not to use any other embellishments as the card seemed 'busy' enough as designed.

• Rich Razzleberry Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score 4 1/4
• Basic White: Layer 3 3/4 x 5; 4 x 5 1/4 inside layer ; scrap for sentiment 
• Regals Collection Desginer Series Paper: 5 1/4 x 4 coordinating layer, (3) - 3/4 x 6 strips of differing patterns
• Ink
• Rich Razzleberry - sentiment and blending behind the sentiment to help it pop
• Mango Melody (inside images/sentiment)
• Blackberry Bliss Light blending pen to color 'wine'
• Other 
• Adhesives: Seal, Multipurpose glue, Dimensionals
