Today features the monthly Stampin' Dreams topic, In Memoriam. The creators will be sharing projects of remembrance. Whether for a holiday such as Remembrance or Armistice Day or a general card of sympathy or shared thoughts and prayers, celebrating those we've lost.
My father served in the Navy over in Korea for a few years after the war ended there. Our family is thankful for his service and for the medical services the VA provides to veterans. While he is still alive, I still like to celebrate Veteran's Day with him and created this remembrance card.
I don't have too many stamps related to remembrance, but the Peaceful Moments sentiment set does have this sentiment. I decided to use the unique circle image from the Treasured Kindness stamp in the background. The card turned out to have a unique, tranquil effect that I'm really pleased with.
