Pride Blog Hop

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Pride celebrations happen all through the summer all around the world. I try to challenge myself to create diverse projects. Participating in todays blog hop, featuring projects to celebrate the LGBTQ community is a step in that direction. 

The rainbow flag is a well recognize image of the LGBTQ community so I decided to create something reflecting the rainbow colors. I CASE'd this card from Priscilla Stamps, switching a few colors and also making mine a slim card.  

The colors pop so well on the black cardstock. The sentiment from Lovely You is one of my favorites and memorializes my wish for a kinder, gentler, more accepting world.

• Basic Whit Thick card base: 11" x 3 1/4" score at 4 3/4"
• Basic Black layer 4 5/8" x 3 1/8"
• Basic White scrap 3/4" x 4 5/8"
• Rainbow circle/strips colors: Real Read, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Starry Sky, Gorgeous Grape 
• Tip: Circles are cut in half as you layer on top left side of card, adhere half circle closer to each left side of half circle; as you layer on the lower right side of card, adhere half circles closer to each right side of half circle. This give them the look of being connected. 
• Strips on right of card are 1/4" x 3 1/8" 
• Ink
• Marvelous Makers: Real Read, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Starry Sky, Gorgeous Grape - I colored each word in the sentiment a different color
