#DOswts388 Sketch Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. The DO Stamper Stars is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Today's feature project is based on the below sketch.

I had a third image from the This Birthday Piggy set that I had colored but not used in a card yet. I also wanted to try one of the new masks from the Artistic Mix decorative mask collection. I used this instead of a piece of  pattern paper as my background behind the image. 

My card is modified from the original sketch, but with the same elements in mind. This is what I love about sketches, its a guide that gets you started on laying out a card and helps the creative process!

I can't help but giggle when I see the Piggy! Such a fun and easy set of images. Versatile for both adults and kid cards. 

Card Details

• Stamps
• This Birthday Piggy
• Paper
• Blushing Bride: card base 11 x 4 /14 score at 5 1/2 
• Soft Suede: layer 5 1/4 x 4
• Basic White: Layer 5 x 3 3/4 - Tip: lay mask diagonally onto the layer and secure down before blending so it doesn't move. I use some old washi tape to secure it down. 
• Scraps for sentiments 
• 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 for piggy image 
• Ink
• Soft Suede - sentiments 
• Blushing Bride - blending 
• Flirty Flamingo - blending
