The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Today features the monthly Crafty Challenger project featuring a color inspiration using Bermuda Bay, Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze.
I decided I wanted to try these colors using the emboss resist technique with the beautiful Delicate Dahlia flower. I embossed the outline of the flower with White Embossing powder. I used the blending brushes to blend each of the colors. I thought it was interesting how light the Merry Merlot blended onto the paper. Using a paper towel you, wipe the excess ink of the embossed images, which makes them totally pop. I love how this turned out and would never have thought of using these 3 colors together
As you can see, I also used cardstock in the 3 colors to help set off the colors.
