Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. The DO Stamper Stars is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefske's leader team. Each month we participate in 2 Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Today's feature project is based on the below sketch. Sketch's can be interpreted literally, or with your own creative twist on it.
This sketch was also part of a Mystery Stamping activity we had during the DO Stamper Stars virtual event. I prepped the below based on the first clue.
STAMP SET: (can be from same or different sets)
o Choose a smaller image for the focal point - I chose the Dragonfly Garden stamp set for both
o Choose a smaller sentiment, not wider than 2 1/2”
INK: to match paper (see below) I chose Rich Razzelberry and Old Olive
PAPER:
o Card base: 5 1/2”x 8 1/2” (score at 4-1/4”), cut a 2 3/4” square of same color - Rich Razzelberry
o Coordinating cardstock 3” x 5 1/2” - Old Olive
o Designer Series Paper: 2 3/4” x 5 1/2” - I chose a pattern from Beauty Of The Earth
o White or Vanilla cardstock: 2 1/2” square - White
OTHER:
o Embellishments: Twine/Ribbon, Jewels/Dots (optional) - Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon
o Tools: Bone Folder, Scissors, and Adhesive(s) of your choice
If you missed on the fun, you can still see all of the great content on the Facebook page-view here.
Now Let's dig into more collaborative fun, Grab a beverage, site back, and enjoy the hop! I hope you find awesome ideas and inspiration to make cards of your own using this sketch.
