DOswts358 Sketch Card Blog Hop

 

Hello Crafters!

Welcome to the DOswts#358 Sketch Blog Hop. Below is a diagram of the sketch graphic we are working from to create this card 

Suggested measurements for this card are:

• Card base: ½” sheet of cardstock

• White or neutral layer: 4” x 5-1/4” (for stamping/decorating in the center area)

• Designer Series Paper (DSP) Triangles: two 2”squares (cut diagonally to get 4 triangles)

As you can see in the above photos of my card, I used both sides of the DSP in the corners. I added one of the beautiful elements from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. I placed it over the Pretty Peacock sentiment layer and then using dimensionals on the Basic white paper with the sentiment, placed that on top to secure the gold leaf to the card. This leaf fit perfectly within the diamond opening. I added the Gilded Gems to either side of the sentiment for a final touch. 

I'm really pleased with how this card turned out and it was so simple. I hope you give it a try and share it with me. All products used to make this card are listed below.
