Create with Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper

The Ornate Garden suite of products from Stampin' Up! is gorgeous, but I particularly like the Designer Series Paper and want to highlight a few cards I've made using this paper. The colors that coordinate with this paper are Bumblebee from the 2020-2022 in-colors, but also Crushed Curry is a close 2nd match; Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Basic White, Terracotta Tile and Rococo Rose, both from the 2019-2021 in colors.

The above card was made using the front and back side of one of the paper designs layered on to Basic White to pop the beautiful Rococo Rose color. Mint Macron ink was used for the butterflies and sentiment from the Lovely You set. I used the The Butterfly Duet punch for the butterflies and Stitched Shaped Dies for the sentiment oval layers.

This next card is made incorporating the Ornate Border Dies. These are available with the Ornate Thanks stamp set as a bundle for a 10% discount. The border dies give a beautiful edge to your cards/layers. Just a small strip of the designer series paper is added as well. The card stock and ink color of this card is Calypso Coral. I used the Floral Essence stamp set for the flower images and the sentiment is one of the many great sentiments from Lovely You stamp set.

Last but not least, the below card shows off the wonderful florals that are in many of the designs of this paper. I used the layering rectangle dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies set to create the layering, and also for the sentiment image. Crushed Curry is the card stock and sentiment ink color. Lastly sentiment and butterfly are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and Butterfly Duet punch.
