The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Today features the monthly 'Share It Sunday' projects where the team shares any project that have been working on.
I recently received the Friendship Royalty stamp set. I do love a good Birthday Queen card, not to mention my granddaughter is all things princess so I just had to have this set.
I decided to create my own background using the stamp images and variety of different colors. You can see once it was done, the card did not need much else. I added a fussy cut a wand, the sentiment and of course a few embellishments.
On the inside, I stamped the larger of the crown images and my favorite sentiment.
I'm definitely excited to make more projects using this set. I'm sure some heat embossing will be involved!

Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. I am a member of the DO Stamper Stars team which is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Today's inspiration is Christmas in July. I often start thinking about Christmas gifts this time of year simply from a budgeting standpoint and it's also easier to get out shopping in the summer than in the winter. If you make Christmas cards, figuring out a card design early helps to determine what you may need for supplies to order in time to make them. I typically start making supplies in September, so design in July, supplies in August works in my timeline.
I decided to pull from my stash of Stampin' Up! kits which makes it so easy to create a stash of holiday cards. There are 4 Christmas themed kits in the Kit Collection. Two are "Tag" kits pictured below, which I've shared in past blogs how they can easily be made into cards.

The two kits that make 4 x 5 1/2 cards are Cozy & Bright and Christmas Whimsy kits.

Christmas Whimsy Kit
I chose to use the Christmas Whimsy kit to create 2 alternative cards. I did look to Pinterest for some ideas and the first card (horizontal) idea came from Demonstrator Nancy Hoetker. The 2nd card I fussy cut the tree from the card base and added a layer of DSP from the Stargazing 12 x 12 paper pack. I also embossed the snowflake stamp image onto this card for a little added touch.
With just a few extra supplies you can easily modify the cards as you like and/or extend the number of cards you can make from the kits. I made these card as is last year and now I have alternative ideas to reuse the extra kit I have in my stash for this year.

Welcome to the July kit Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop. A Group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators join to create collaboratively using the current Paper Pumpkin Kit. Specifically, we design alternative cards, scrapbook pages, or other paper projects using the contents of the kit and a few coordinating additions from our own stash.
The July Fun In The Sun kit was very fun to make. The cards in the kit are super cute fun fold pop up styles.
The Kit Includes:
All the supplies you need to create 9 cards: 3 each of 3 designs;
9 coordinating envelopes.
An all-occasion stamp set to support and encourage those you love.
Pearlescent Backed Sequins.
Summertime Ephemera Pack.
Precut die cuts.
One Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Spot
For an alternative I tend to focus on the stamp set, which has some great sayings and seeing what I can make out of the envelopes from the kit which seem to always have some great designs. I liked both sides of the design on the envelope flaps, so I cut up 2 envelopes. I also used both the darker inside of th envelope as a layer and the outside lighter blue of the envelope as a layer. I didn't use the crabs in my kit cards because I wanted to use the adorable "Sorry I was crabby" saying.
Didn't these turn out fun? I'm sure they will make anyone smile when they open up the card. The eyeglasses are from the retired Hippo dies and really add to the cuteness of the crab on the card. Oher Items from my stash I used are:
Basic White thick card bases and regular basic white to adhere the envelops onto; Poppy Parade layer on the one card and poppy parade ink.
