The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Today features the monthly Paper Pumpkin projects where the team shares alternative projects to inspire other uses with the kit.
The April Paper Pumpkin, Change is Beautiful, has enough supplies to create 9 - 4 ¼” x 5 ½” cards—3 each of 3 designs—and 9 coordinating envelopes, perfectly themed to commemorate a loved one’s journey through life changes like graduation, moving, career changes, and more. Here is the link to the video putting the kit together along with more ideas at the Paper Pumpkin Blog Site
When looking to create an alternative project using the kit supplies, I typically turn to the stamp set images first. There is a fun little floral image I stamped in Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo added to a strip of paper and adhered to each card.
I also decided to add some blending behind the Butterfly die cut. I typically cut 1 of each envelope for the pretty paper inside to use in a card as well.
The below card, I used one of the fun fold card bases and cut up the pieces to layer on the card along with a few of the die cuts.
