#DOswts391- Christmas In July Inspiration Hop

Today's Feature is another Christmas In July. Let's face it, you can't have too many Christmas/Holiday card inspirations to choose from. I'm sticking to some similar products as my last Christmas in July, only I switched up some colors and instead used a large pieces of that beautiful Snowflake 12 x 12 Specialty Vellum paper to really create a snowfall look. 

Isn't this fun! OMG- I was just giddy when the card was finished. I stamped the two colors for each tree on the backside of the vellum. The trick to stamping on Vellum is to walk away and let it dry. It was still a bit wet to the touch a day later but since it is in the back side, no one is touching it. Stamping on the back also creates a 'blurry' layer to the trees amongst the 'falling snow' dots on the vellum layer.

• Parakeet Party Card Base- 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score 4 1/4" 
• scrap for sentiment layer 3" x 3/34 
• Basic white: 5 1/4" x 4
• Scrap 3/4" x 3"- sentiment 
• Snowflake 12 x 12 Specialty Vellum - 5 1/4" x 4"- after stamping/drying the vellum, lay right on top of the white card base with various glue dots on the 'snow' dots. The white  helps everything show through well. 
• Ink - Tip when double stamping the trees, stamp bottom image in the lighter of your two colors and top layer in darker color
• Parakeet Party and Garden Green 
• Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce 
• Other
• Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack - (pg 9 pf Jul - Dec Mini)
• Adhesives: Seal, Multipurpose glue, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals
