Crafty Challenge Blog Hop - July 2022 Color Inspiration

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today features a color challenge. The team shares projects using the below colors. I absolutely love these colors. Most of them are in the Brights Collection which is my favorite collection of Stampin" Up! colors.

Given it is World Watercolor Month I tried out the Faux Water Color Technique using the flower from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set. Click here for a link to a video on this technique. 

I really love how this turned out. The colors are just so beautiful!

• Basic White Thick Base: 11" x 4 1/4 score 5 1/2 
• Basic White: 3 x 3 for circle die cut 
• Calypso Coral: 5 x 3 3/4 -embossed with Gingham folder 
• Fluid 100 Watercolor paper: 1 1/2" x 5 for florals

• Water Painters - Once you stamp the flower in the ink color, use the water painters to pull the color from the outline of the stamp image to make it look like water coloring.

• Metallic Mesh Ribbon - 5" - this was a last minute addition and I really love the look!
• Glossy Dots Assortment - top fave embellishment in the annual catalog!
