#DOswts386 Sketch Inspiration Hop

Today's feature project is based on the below sketch.

I really switched up this sketch for my project. I've already got a bunch of scraps of the In-Color designer series paper and really wanted to use them. I also have not made many projects with the new Good Feelings Stamp set. When I saw the squares I thought of this fun saying. The words fit better switching it to a diamond look 

I'm obsessed with using the adhesive sheets and laying down strips of paper. It is such an efficient, easy way of laying down the strips and I love being able to use my leftovers and not waste too much paper. I had to make the layer a bit bigger than the sketch, but it still has the same effect. The Tahitian Tide layer really pops the colors. I added the twine on the lower part of the layer piece. 

I originally thought of  having the Happy Birthday on the front, but it did not fit well, so I adhered it on the inside along with more scraps.

• Thick Basic White Base card: 11" x 4 1/4 score at 5 1/2 
• Scraps for die cuts 
• 2022-2024 In Color Assortment pack: Tahitian Tide 5 x3 1/3
• Basic White card stock - adhere adhesive sheets to adhere strips of the DSP
• 2022-2024 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Assortments - 3/4 strips in various sizes/colors/patterns. Adhere into the basic white that has the adhesive sheet on it.

• 2022-2024 In Color Stampin Write Marker Assortment:  I colored each word with a different color

• Stylish Shapes dies: squares were placed in diamond form with dimensionals
