The Scrapbooking Global Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in a scrapbooking Blog Hop Theme, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Today's theme is brought to you by Courtenay Heuston who created a sketch for us to follow.
I knew right away which photos I wanted to use with this sketch in mind as I had a few of my grandsons I developed in a 5 x 7 format. I did trim the photos a bit to fit better on the page. I kept this layout easy by using the He's The Man 12 x 12 paper and die cuts from the designer series paper pack. I did use He's All That bundle for one of the circle sentiments which I also die cut. I also used the layering circle dies to add a colored circle layer behind 2 of the circles.
Essentially all of the layers are from the Designer Series Paper. It really cuts down on making decisiosn when you use one pack of paper for your layout. This came together pretty quick. The hardest part was deciding which die cut sentiments to use and where to put them.

The Team will be sharing Thank You related project inspirations. I send out a fair amount of Thank You cards. I believe it is important to send notes of thanks for my business, for gifts and when someone helps me out! My thank you card today is geared toward someone that has helped me out.
I had some unused pieces of water color paper I had worked on in July and wanted to use them along with the Lovely Layers Vellum pack. I have not used many of the designs in this pack and thought it would look well over the water colors and added the butterfly die cuts from water colored paper as well. I really love the jungle/safari look the vellum layer added to this card.

Today's feature project is based on the following sketch:
I decided to stick closely with the sketch and used the 'He's The Man' Designer Series Paper, which makes it so easy to use the die cut elements from this pack and stamp little to nothing!
Hooray for easy cards! I put a Happy Birthday sentiment inside the card so I can add it to my male birthday card stash.

Today is the monthly Stampin' Dreams Hop topic of Fall. I made many fall themed cards in August for the Do Stamper Stars Baker's Dozen Challenge. Additionally, the card I'm sharing today I made during our Water Color Challenge, but had not yet shared the details.
I used my Water Color painters to paint the leaves in a variety of re-inker colors. At first I was not super pleased with how it turned out, but the water color effect grew on me. It's not meant to look perfect and so any combination of coloring works well.
