Scrapbooking Global - October 2023 - Using a Kit Contents

The Scrapbooking Global Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in a scrapbooking Blog Hop Theme, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's challenge is brought to you by Sherry Roth who is inspiring us to use Stampin' Up! Kit contents. This can be a Paper Pumpkin, kits from our kit collection or possibly a combination of several.

I've had 2 adorable photo's of my granddaughter that I've been wanting to scrapbook. I recently played with the April 2023 All The Little Things Paper Pumpkin kit and remembered that the colors from this kit could work perfectly with the photos.  (Note: If you are a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin, you can still order this past kit - see link in product list below)

The floral die cut elements are so pretty in this kit. I made a few sympathy cards with the kit contents but left the rest of the kit to make on another occasion. Lucky me, I can use it with these photos and the sentiments form the kit fit in perfectly.

I used a basic white 12x12 sheet as my base layer. Onto that I cut one of the kit envelopes in Balmy Blue and simply adhered it to the bottom right portion of the base. There was still some white space on the bottom left so I used one of the balmy blue card layers and adhered it there. It gives some nice dimension to this space.

The photos themselves are 5x7so they fit perfectly across, although there was a small gap between where I added some of the kit layer elements.  The floral die cuts fit beautifully to accent the page. Quick and easy to adhere. All stamping is from the stamp set in the kit, although I used Calypso coral ink instead of the Shaded Spruce ink spot that came in the kit. All sentiments were stamped onto the precut elements from the kit. I added the string as well from the kit along with the embellishment gems. Keeping with the quick & easy theme, I used my Calypso Coral Stampin' Write marker to write in the title on the top.

This page came together so quickly and add a nice touch for these fun photos of my granddaughter.
