Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - September - Autumn

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today features the monthly Stampin Dreams theme which for September is creating Autumn projects.

I do not have a lot of products to use for autumn, but this season is all about the beautiful colors. I decided to try an ink swiping technique with the Leaf 3D folder. I swiped 3 different colors in rows across the embossing folder on the side that has the Stampin' Up! logo. I then lightly sprayed the ink on the folder with water from my stampin spritzer, placed the paper in the folder and ran it through the embossing machine. 

Isn't this beautiful? I trimmed it down a bit more to fit the layer I wanted on my card and decided it needed another layer of very vanilla under it to help pop the colors on the card. 

I added the sentiment and a bit of ribbon under it. I love how the card turned out and will definitely make a few more of these for my thanksgiving cards.

• Copper Clay card base: 4 1/4 x 11 score at 5 1/2
• Vary Vanilla layer 5 x 3 3/4; 
• embossed layer: start with 5 1/4 x 4 and trim to 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 once it is dry from embossing
• Sentiment die cut: 1 3/4 x 2 1/2

• Stampin Cut & Emboss 
• Leaf 3D embossing folder 
• Stampin Sprtiz - once inks are swiped onto the embossing folder, spritz the folder with water 
• copper clay 3/8" textured ribbon 
• Adhesives: Seal, Multipurpose glue, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals
