Scrapbooking Global April 20 Blog Hop - Blind Scrapping

The Scrapbooking Global Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in a scrapbooking Blog Hop Theme, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's theme is brought to you by Courtenay Heuston and is titled Blind Scrapping Courtenay gave us details list of items to use form our Stampin' Up stash and instructions on the layout. I have never participated in a challenge like this and was intrigued to see how the layout would turn out.

We received am instruction list that gave us measurements for the various paper elements, lots of extra doodling or stamping, more embellishments/die cut elements than I normally use, along with recommendations on where to place them, I picked my photo first which help me pick the colors/papers for the project. I know I've used Texture Chic elements in a few layouts recently, but the colors were prefect for the photo and the Memories & More card pack elements work fabulously for scrapbook layouts!!

Once I figured out my elements, the layout came together quickly. The added stamping around the edge of the base layer really does add a nice, subtle touch. I love this photo of my daughter and her family from their vacation in MX. I'll let her add some journalling in the lower right corner.
