Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - October 2022 Geometric Shapes

The Scrapbooking Global Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in a scrapbooking Blog Hop Theme, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's Geometric Shapes theme is brought to you by Mai Chapelain

The Stylish Shapes Dies are my new favorite set of dies from the annual catalog and they work perfect with the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. There are also the must have classic Layering Circles dies, and Stitched Rectangles die set. There are of course many other shapes using dies and punches in the catalog, but these are my favorite three.

I selected the Sweetest Christmas 12x12 designer series paper for my background. I fussy cut a few candy canes from this paper as well. I die cut the photos with the various geometric shapes and added cardstock layers a size up in various coordinating colors. I added a few elements from the Santa Express Memories & More card pack, which included chip board words I colored with stampin' blends.

Shapes really are an essential element in scrapbooking layouts. This is a very simple layout, highlighting a few photos from our 2002 family Christmas Celebration.
