Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. The DO Stamper Stars is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's project are inspired by Mom or Dad. With Mother's day coming up soon, I decided to make a Mother's day card. My mother and mother in law are no longer with us, but my daughter and step daughter are both mother's and I like to send them a card to encourage them that they are doing an awesome job. 

I made quite a few Easter cards this past month using the Daffodil Daydream stamp set. There is a wonderful Mother's day sentiment in the set as well, so I used the set to make my Mother's day card. I added a mix of the beautiful New Horizon's paper to create a serene background. 

 

I love how the two different designs from the DSP coordinate so well to create this card. The card was made following a sketch from Call Me Crafty Al - Sheet Load of Cards. Check out her video here. #SUYSMar2022 #showusyoursheetload

• Blushing Bride card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4, Scrap for middle strip under the flower/sentiment - I used my paper snips to cut the banner look to it
• Old Olive - layer  3 /14 x 5 1/2
• Basic White - scraps for sentiment & floral image 
• New Horizons 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper - (2) 1" x 5 1/2" strips and 3" x 5 1/2" for middle piece - this can also be 2 pieces as show in the video/sketch.

• Coloring of the floral image: Old olive and Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends
