Share it Sunday Blog Hop - January 2021 with Oceanfront Stamp Set and On The Horizon Bundle

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today features the 'monthly Share It Sunday' projects where the team shares any project that have been working on.

If you haven't added the Oceanfront stamp set and On The Horizon Bundle/New Horizons Suite of products to your wish list, you're going to want to add it. I have not been much for designs using landscapes, partly because I think I have been intimated by it. However, these 2 sets make it soooo easy to create a beautiful landscape, you need to try it for yourself.

It really did turn out so peaceful and relaxing. I've seen people using many different colors to create this oceanfront scene for daytime, evening, unique sunsets, etc. Your imagination is the only limit to your creativity with these sets. Don't let me get started on how beautiful the New Horizon DSP is! I used what I would call the 'B' side in this card, because I wanted the oceanfront stamping to take center stage.  However, the designs on the main sides of the New Horizon DSP are stunning! You'll want to get this paper for your stash to create with!

Here's some tips on how I made this card:

Card Details
  • Stamps
    • Oceanfront
    • On The Horizon Bundle - includes Horizon Dies
  • Paper
    • Basic White - Thick: card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored 4 1/4

        • 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 die cut with stitched rectangle
        • 1 1/2 x 2 1/4 - sentiment die cut with Tasteful Label dies
    • Designer Series Paper: New Horizons 6 x 6 - 5 1/4 x 4
            • Bloom Where Your Planted: fence die cut from Horizon Dies
  • Ink: Tip I stamped off the ink on scrap paper, before inking on the die cut white piece to give it a bit more subtle look
    • Largest image - "Sky" = Coastal Cabana
    • Next image - "water' = Pacific Point
    • Next image - "beach" = Grey Granite- i did it a few times to give it a layered look
      • Sentiment and birds from On The Horizon stamp set inked in Grey Granite.
    • "Dots" image - "sand" = Sahara Sand
    • Grassy image - Garden Green. You can see I stamped on the background DSP and on the white die cut piece.
  • Other
    • Mentioned above: Stitched Rectangle and Tasteful Label Dies
    • Iridescent Rhinestones
    • Dimensionals: Regular and Mini - used on each end of fence to make it even with raised oceanfront stamped panel.

    • Stampin' Cut & Emboss
Now Let's dig into more collaborative fun. Grab a beverage, sit back, and enjoy the hop! I hope you find awesome ideas and inspiration for your projects.

  1. Great card! And, you're right about how those two sets make it simple to do landscapes! It's almost simple stamping.
