DO Stamper Stars 2022 Jan- June Mini Catalog Card Swap Inspiration

 Hello Crafters!

After sharing the Sale-A-Bration product card swaps, I thought I'd share the card swaps we exchanged using product from the new 2022 Jan - June Mini catalog. This catalog has so many products to love, I don't think I've bought this many products from a catalog in a long time. It features many products to cover the major holidays over the next 6 months: Valentines, Easter, Mothers day, etc. It includes many beautiful floral stamp sets and papers along with several stamp bundles incorporating landscape/nature/water elements and cute critters. I'm sure you'll find something to love that you'll want to create with.

The majority of us do not have an unlimited budget to purchase new product. By participating in a card swap, we receive other samples from other demonstrators that sign up of other product we do not have. It also gives creative ideas for using the product.

First up is the Artfully Composed Suite found on pg. 32 -33 of the catalog. These swaps highlight the Artfully Layered Bundle and Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper. Note: The white frayed ribbon is currently not orderable until week of 1/24, therefore the suite cannot be ordered.

These next 2 cards are from the Hello Ladybug bundle found on pg. 20 of the catalog. This ladybug has lots of options for decorating and adding to really any type of card. I'm sure we'll be seeing lots of creativity using this bundle.

Next is a fold card using the Love & Happiness bundle found on pg. 11 of the catalog. This bundle has both a set of dies and the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing folder that you can use the main heart die inside the embossing folder to cut out an embossed heart. This card also uses paper from the Sweet Talk designer series paper.  Note: the embossing folder and therefore the bundle is not orderable until sometime after 1/24.

You can see how she used the heart die to cut the designer series paper so that the embossed heart peeks through the front of the card.

Open the first fold and see all the beautiful embossed features.

Open the 3rd fold and the die cut heart from the front paper is added as an accent. What a clever design!

Keeping with the love theme, since I already highlight my Viking Valentine card swap in a prior post, I created a simple card and Sweet Little Box from the Sweet Talk Collection of products found on pg. 8-10 of the catalog. This suite is so versatile for valentines and love themed cards. I am having a lot of fun creating with it. Ghiradelli has mini heart shaped chocolates, packaged up in 3 flavors. I found that 3 of them fit in a box. Note: The Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon and Iridescent Rhinestones from this collection are on low inventory.

Next is the Tulip Fields Bundle found on pg. 17 of the catalog. This also belongs to the Flowering Fields Suite of products on pg. 14-17 to purchase all of these gorgeous products in one suite to create with. This windmill really is a fun element on the card as you can turn it, albeit carefully. I also love the added touch of the small bike.

Next is the Paradise Palms stamp set, that also has a bundle price with the Palm Dies, found on pg. 25 of the catalog. This set has a sentiment for Retirement, which is not an easy sentiment to locate and the theme fits perfectly. I think it could also coordinate well several of the other landscape sets. Namely, On The Horizon pg. 43 and Oceanfront pg. 39.

Speaking of which, I did not receive any swaps using the Ocean Front and/or New Horizons Bundle but I received these products in my first order after the catalog went live. This type of stamping/design is totally outside my comfort zone, but I really loved it and will be highlighting this card in a future blog post and possibly a video.

This next card swap used the Sentimental Swirls stamp set found on pg. 56 of the catalog. This set has a lot of versatility to it and coordinates with the Flowers & Leaves punch on pg. 148 of the annual catalog.

Last, but not least, is a card using the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle found on pg. 18 of the catalog and coordinates so well with the Sunshine & Rainbows 6x6 designer series paper in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Buy this bundle for $44, add an embellishment for $6 or more and you can get the paper free with your order. Note: This card was ripped during mail delivery processing.

This is just a sampling of what is in the catalog. I'm certain I'll be highlighting more cards form products I have bought from this catalog. Contact me if you need a demonstrator and do not have a catalog, I am happy to provide you with one and inspire you to create with your products.
