#DOswts375 Holiday Packaging Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. The DO Stamper Stars is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Each month we participate in 2 Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today's feature project is Packaging Inspiration. The Holidays are a great time to make some of your own packaging. It's pretty easy to dress up a plain bag, decorate a box, add some treats or add a pretty tag. Since I started participating in Craft & Gift shows this year, I have made more treat packaging than ever before. My recent inspiration is Wine Tags! I'll be participating in Holiday Boutique at a winery on December 4th so of course I need to make some wine themed projects.

These are easy enough to make and switch up with any of your supplies. You can choose to use fewer layers. I also decided to emboss the sentiment with Silver Embossing powder to coordinate with the silver accents in the paper, but you can use Basic Grey ink instead.

Stamp Set
Holly Jolly Wishes - really good set for classic holiday sentiments.

Paper -
    Basic White Thick Card Stock: 3 1/4" x 9 1/4" scored at 2 3/4"  + Extra piece for sentiment
    Blushing Bride: 2 pieces:  3" x 6 1/4" and 3" x  2 1/2"
    Smokey Slate: 2 pieces:  2 3/4" x 6"  an 2 3/4" x 2 1/4"
    Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper: 2 pieces:  2 1/2" x 5 3/4" and 2 1/2" x 2"
Vellum - Die cut with layering Circle behind the snowflake

Ink
   Versamark

Other
    Silver Embossing Powder
    Heat Tool
Stitched So Sweetly Dies - for sentiment
Layering Circle Dies - tip: die cut each layer for the upper part of the tag before you adhere it. Use the first layer as your guide so they match up.
Wonderful Snowflakes - adhere with mini glue dots
Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials - added clear to a few snowflakes, silver to the tag
    Stampin' Seal
    Stampin' Dimensionals
    Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Now Let's dig into more collaborative fun. Grab a beverage, sit back, and enjoy the hop! I hope you find awesome ideas and inspiration to make packaging of your own for that personal touch this holiday.

    1. Thanks. They are pretty easy to make. Less layers makes it easier to punch/die cut the top circle
