DOswts 374 - Sketch Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. The DO Stamper Stars is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Each month we participate in 2 Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing. 

Today's feature project is based on the below sketch

I decided to use the Gingerbread & Peppermint 6X6 designer series paper as it has some nice trees that can be fussy cut, a bit larger than the pine tree punch. After fussy cutting, I picked the pattern paper layer I wanted behind the tress and decided to go with the Cinnamon Cider cardstock as the color for the card base.  I simply flipped the paper around to make the 1" x 4" strip, and also decided to fussy cut 3 of the 'peppermint' looking candies to add in the corner. 

The sentiment is from the Best Year set. I actually cut the Happy Christmas from the large sentiment. I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch to each end of the label. 

Lastly I added some Red Rhinestones to the peppermints and Wonderful gems to the tree tops.
