The Scrapbooking Global Team is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in a scrapbooking Blog Hop Theme, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Today's theme is brought to you by Sara Levin and is titled "Let's Strip" - Use Strips of Paper in your layout.
I knew right away the photo of my granddaughter to use in this layout. I pulled out all the strips/bits & pieces of the Expression In Ink designer paper knowing I had lots of these and the in colors available.
I traced the picture to have an idea where the strips needed to go. I started to lay them out in a staggered format, trying not to duplicate similar papers. Once I was good with how they were laid out, I attached them with adhesive.
I then decided the layout needed just a little bit more, so I added a few of the leftover floral & leaf die cuts to the page. I just love how this turned out. My granddaughter has learned to pose a smile on demand. My daughter caught this one when she was enjoying her bath time. Just so adorable.
Thank you for coming to my page. This is my first time using strips in my layout. I know it is a very popular technique and one I will definitely do again with the right kind of photo. The page is so colorful and fun!
Now Let's dig into more collaborative fun, Grab a beverage, sit back, and enjoy the hop! I hope you find awesome ideas and inspiration for your projects.
