Stampin' Up! August- December 2021 Mini Catalog - Sneak Peak

Hello from JH Stamping Studio! I'm excited for the new Aug. - December Mini Catalog to go live in a little over 3 days. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is being able to pre-order items 30 days+ prior to the catalog going live. I've been busy playing with the items from my preorder and want to share.

While not every product in the new Mini is holiday related, the majority of items are. After all we have the major holiday of Christmas/Hanakkuh/Kwanzaa, the Thanksgiving holiday and let's not forget Halloween, which is becoming more and more popular to send cards or handmade items to hold treats for young an old alike. 

Page 53 of the new catalog has an adorable Halloween set called Clever Cats. I just could not resist the cats. On pg. 51 you'll find the Cute Halloween 6x6 designer series paper, perfect for any Halloween card. How cute is this card?? 

Next up is Thanksgiving. I went outside of my comfort zone and purchased the Sparkle of The Season Bundle which includes die cuts that coordinate with the stamp set (pumpkin, bats and stars in the Halloween card are from this bundle). What I like best is that I can make cards for all 3 holidays from this bundle. Additionally, I really liked the 3 different wreath die cuts. The Black and white gingham ribbon is also a new item from the catalog. The brick looking paper is from the Bloom Where Your Planted designer series paper. I can't wait to show you a Halloween and Christmas card using this bundle. 

Last and of course not least, the Christmas card. I had so much fun putting all these elements together. The Whimsy & Wonder 12x12 Designer series paper found on pg 25 in the catalog is stunning. The catalog photos really do not do it justice. So many non traditional colors to create holiday related projects. I used the iridescent silver paper for my background paper. I then added the Wonderful Snowflakes, also on pg. 25. These snowflakes are a must have for any of your winter creations!  

The stamp set is Holly Jolly Wishes, sentiment only set found on pg. 29 of the catalog. I love all of the sentiments in this set and plan to use many for my holiday cards. See the glittery paper behind the sentiment? This is the Be Dazzling 6x6 paper you can receive free with an order of $50 or more during Salea-bration, August 3 - September 30. There are many choices during Salea-bration, but this is one of 3 items that have limited quantities and will only be available while supplies last. 

Don't forget the inside of the card. The Whimsy & Wonder designer series paper has the cutest image of presents that I cut out and used on the inside. The sentiment is from Perfectly Plaid stamp set found on pg. 93 in the annual catalog.
